Galaxy dominate against Burn
It took the Galaxy just nine minutes to open the scoring, beginning from a poor back pass by Burn defender Cory Gibbs. The Galaxy swung the ball to Cobi Jones on the right flank and his cross to the far post found Victorine who headed the ball low inside the left post for his first goal of the season.

Around the 35th minute, Ronnie O'Brien(Dal) got the first yellow card of the game.

Andreas Herzog, who nearly doubled the Galaxy's lead at the close of the first half on a long distance laser shot which was parried by Garlick, who put his stamp on the match after the break.

Andreas Herzog's free kick from the right side to the far post in the 65th minute gave the ball to Steve Jolley(Dal) who inadvertently headed the ball into his own net as he outjumped Victorine in the battle for the ball. But the Burn's hopes were revived in the 71st minute on a solo effort from O'Brien, the most energetic player for the visitors. O'Brien got the ball 30 yards from goal and dribbled through the Galaxy defense into the box, before scoring.

Marcelo Saragosa's cross a minute later, was headed toward goal by Kirovski, and once again Jolley tried to clear the ball from his own goal line but the ball still dribbled over the line.

Jovan Kirovski(LA) scored his second goal of the match in the last seconds of the game. The goal came from the penalty spot in the fourth minute of stoppage time when Joseph Ngwenya(LA) was taken down in the box. Kirvoski scored the final goal of the game and that put the Galaxy ahead by 3 goals with less than a couple of seconds left in the game. The Galaxy dominated against the Burn with a score of 4-1.
