MetroStars 3, Galaxy 0
The visitors got their first goal from a blistering 25-yard strike by Guevara in the 16th minute. A fine buildup saw Ricardo Clark play the final pass to Guevara from the right flank and the Honduran took care of the rest, taking a few touches towards the Galaxy net before unleashing an unstoppable drive just inside the right post.

The Metro Stars also came up with another goal in the 39th minute when Guevara found Gaven on the right side of the box this time, before the youngster skipped through traffic and sent a splendid shot around Hartman's dive and inside his right-hand post, for his first goal of the night and the season.

Just 4 minutes later after Gaven's goal the Metrostars got another goal in the net when once again Eddie Gaven(MET) scored another goal with the assist of Amado Guevara(MET).

The MetroStars got the victory against the Galaxy with a 3-0 win. The MetroStars will next be in action Saturday in an Eastern Conference matchup with the New England Revolution. The Galaxy take a trip to Chicago and go against the Fire.
