Review of Rapids this Past Week
What has happened with the Rapids this past week? A lot. And surprisingly despite their trend, most of the things are good.

1. Colorado dominated the Chicago Fire last Wednesday with a 2-0 victory. Jean Philippe Peguero and Mark Chung scored the two goal. Joe Cannon earned yet another clean-sheet. This was the best game the team has played all year. The passing was good, the attack was strong, and the defense was solid. I don't know what happened to the team that night, but if they continue that kind of play, they will make a run in the playoffs.

2. KSE announced news regarding the new stadium last week. They reviled the location and other details regarding the facility. It will be in Commerce City (east Denver). It will be able to seat anywhere from 20,000 to 30,000.

3. The Rapids reserves advanced to the PDL final on Saturday. They defeated the Fresno Fuego 3-0. Javier Vegas, Alex Salazar, and Peter Lowry found the net for Boulder. This final will be broadcast live on FSW this Saturday. Kickoff is at 5:00 PM (MT).

4. The only bad news of the week comes from the All-Star game. Absolutely no Rapids to be found. Mastroeni missed the game due to injury. And Cannon, well, you know that he got robbed of a spot.

The Rapids next match is this Saturday. They travel to Dallas to take on the Burn. Match time is August 7th, 5:00 PM Mountain Time.
