The second came as he was able to block the shot right at Ashton’s feet.

Sheffield United vs Watford (0-0, 4-2 on PK’s Watford wins)

Jay Demerit – Jay got a start in defense for Watford. In the 2nd half, it looked like Jay committed a handball on a cross by Sheffield defender Jon Harley. In the 119th minute, Jay headed a free kick over the bar which could’ve won it for the Hornets before going to penalty kicks.

On both goals he came through untouched behind the defense leaving keeper Freidel in a helpless position. Gudjohnsen completed his hat trick as he converted a penalty in the 51st minute.
